Four Western Bloodstock Sale Graduates Inducted to NCHA Hall of Fame

The Western Bloodstock sale ring has long been a starting point for horses that go on to shape major aged events. This year, that connection is reflected in the induction of four sale graduates into the NCHA Hall of Fame: Baylenciaga, CR Miss Mayzie, Hott Nu Cowboy and Rollz Eh.

Each moved through the Western Bloodstock sale ring early in their careers. Each went on to build a show record that extended well beyond a single standout performance.

Baylenciaga

(Once In A Blu Boon x Incredicat, by High Brow Cougar)
Sold at the 2021 NCHA Futurity Sales as a two-year-old
LTE: $444,155

Baylenciaga established her reputation during her three-year-old season at the 2022 NCHA Futurity, splitting fifth in the Open Finals and earning $83,839 in the Open. That result was not a one-off. She returned at four to split third in the 2023 NCHA Super Stakes Open Derby, adding $53,269 and confirming her place among the strongest performers of her class.

Her later seasons show the kind of sustained competitiveness that defines Hall of Fame careers. In 2024 she reached multiple Super Stakes Classic finals, including a fifth-place finish in the Amateur worth $11,929 and an additional top-five placing in the Intermediate Non-Pro for $5,193. She also collected checks at the Breeders Invitational Classic and West Texas Classic that year, continuing to place across major aged events rather than relying on early career success.

CR Miss Mayzie

(CR Gotcha Covered x Miss Mayzie Wood, by Nitas Wood)
Sold in the 2021 NCHA Futurity Sales as a yearling
LTE: $448,588

CR Miss Mayzie’s career is anchored by a high-impact Futurity run and the ability to remain competitive in the seasons that followed. At the 2023 NCHA Futurity, she split third in the Open Finals and earned $152,516 in the Open.

She followed that performance with continued aged-event appearances. In 2024, she earned $12,277 at the Breeders Invitational Derby and $10,074 at the NCHA Super Stakes Derby , showing up in finals at two of the year’s most competitive four-year-old stops. Later in her career, she posted a fourth-place finish at the 2025 Brazos Bash Classic Open for $21,000 and added strong placings at Arbuckle Mountain and the Super Stakes Classic.

Her record reflects a horse that stayed in the Open conversation beyond her Futurity season.

Hott Nu Cowboy

(Hottish x Special Nu Kitty, by High Brow Cat)
Sold in the 2015 NCHA Futurity Sales as a yearling
LTE: $467,887

Hott Nu Cowboy built his Hall of Fame résumé over time. Early in his career he was competitive in the Open, placing fourth at the 2020 NCHA Finals Open for $10,863 and earning checks at Classic and Challenge events including The Ike and Brazos Bash.

As his career progressed, he became a reliable Non-Pro partner. He won the 2023 NCHA Non-Pro Finals for $24,140 and returned in 2024 to finish third for another $23,724. Those results were supported by additional Non-Pro earnings at events such as the Houston Livestock Show and multiple aged classes at Brazos Bash.

His career reflects durability across divisions and seasons, a key factor in reaching Hall of Fame status.

Rollz Eh

(Rollz Royce x This Cats Smilen, by WR This Cats Smart)
Sold in the 2023 NCHA Futurity Sales as a two-year-old
LTE: $738,602

Rollz Eh’s impact came quickly. As a three-year-old in 2024, she finished Reserve Champion at the NCHA Futurity Open, earning $275,744 in the Open Finals.

She followed that performance with a dominant four-year-old season. In 2025, she won the NCHA Super Stakes Open Derby for $73,356 and later placed third at the NCHA Derby Open for $38,837. She also collected earnings at PCCHA, The Ike and Cattlemens Derby, showing up consistently at the year’s major aged events.

Her season concluded with NCHA Open Horse of the Year honors in 2025, recognizing a body of work across the calendar rather than a single standout run.

From early sale graduates to established performers, these four horses built careers that were defined by finals appearances and repeat relevance in the Open and Non-Pro divisions. Their induction into the NCHA Hall of Fame reflects not just early promise, but the ability to deliver across the sport’s biggest stages over time.
